FOX RIDGE sprawls across nearly 200 acres in the Helena valley, in the middle of Gold West Country, the fastest growing area of Montana. Close to national parks, forests and Helena Valley Reservoir. The area is full of outdoor sports and activities. From any point you will capture a serene environment featuring inspiring views of the Sleeping Giant, Mount Helena, the Great Divide, rolling green hills, large mature trees and tranquil ponds.
The course was constructed between 1991 and 2003, with the Hoff family purchasing an old ranch and converting it into a thriving golf course. They constructed every hole, planted every tree, dug every pond and paved every road, using their own blood sweat and tears to create the course that exists today.
Fox Ridge Golf Course has a lot of golf to offer, this course sets up well for both the beginner golfer and the seasoned pro. The course was designed with an 18 hole par-3 course and an upscale championship 18 hole Regulation course.
With a three million gallon pond water hazard; the challenging regulation course has been described as “One of the most difficult in the west.” With a three million gallon water hazard, it is easy to see why.
But this course is not just for seasoned pros looking for a challenge, it also has a lot to offer the beginner golfer, such as a large driving range, practice putting greens, practice bunker and practice chipping area.
The clubhouse is a 10,000 square foot building with pro shop, restaurant and lounge, known as the Red Fox Supper Club. The Red Fox Supper Club and Lounge, serves up delicious meals, great views of the fairways and features one of the most complete restaurant menus in all of Helena. Lounge features full beverage/liquor and gaming licenses.
